According to a report by AndroidWorld.nl, product manager Chuck Wang says, “We know that brands such as Samsung and Sony are working on a foldable phone. You can also expect more news from Oppo, perhaps at MWC.” He did not share any specifications about the device nor, any details about the launch. In the past, Oppo has filed for several patents of foldable designs but nothing is certain for now.

In other news, Oppo will introduce a 5G smartphone in Europe in the first half of 2019. There’s also a smartphone which includes an in-screen camera, but the device will only be ready by 2020.

Samsung is also expected to unveil its foldable phone, the Galaxy X during MWC 2019 but, we could see a foldable phone by LG during CES 2019 in January itself.
